Kristen H., Owner + Esthetician
I first got into aesthetics because I wanted to be in a positive work environment and provide guests with an experience that would leave them feeling confident. I completed my aesthetics license in 2013 and this was the beginning of my love for all things in esthetics.
Every year I take multiple classes online and out-of-state to stay current with services and products we can bring to our guests. I opened Cloud 9 Day Spa in 2015 and my dream has grown into a much greater love of mentorship for my employees and providing clients with a five-star experience. I now have a team of eight wonderful women who drive my desire for growth, education, giving back to this community, and providing exceptional treatments for every guest.
As a mother of three, working to balance my time with family and my passion for aesthetics is always a juggling act. My amazing husband of 13 years has consistently been by my side to keep me grounded and cheer me on to keep chasing my dreams.
Chance D., Esthetician + Makeup Artist
Hello, my name is Chance, I am a Makeup Artist and Esthetician at Cloud 9 Day Spa. I started in the beauty industry at Nordstrom in the cosmetics department at 18 years old. Shortly after that I received my nail license and was working in a spa. I had always had a passion for makeup but being at a spa made me realize my interest in skin care. I admired how much self-care can do for someone. I love the creative freedom that comes along with my job. I am very passionate about
my work and each unique relationship I have with my clients. It warms my heart to be able to make people feel beautiful.
Madysen M., Esthetician
My name is Madysen, and I’m a licensed esthetician at Cloud 9 Day Spa. I’ve always had a passion for skin care as a young adult and finally was able to pursue it as a career. I received my license shortly after graduating high school and esthetics has been the lifestyle ever since. I love being able to share the importance of taking care of your skin and helping my clients achieve their goals. It’s been a dream to be able to work in skin care and continue to grow within a spa. My job has become such a rewarding experience, helping clients feel like their best selves.
Courtney P., Esthetician
I grew up in Alaska with a love of makeup and skincare, but I didn’t realize my passion for esthetics until I began working at Cloud 9 Day Spa in 2019. Working alongside this team of amazing women, I was able to grow in knowledge of the industry and decided to go to esthetics school and begin my career at Cloud 9 where my skills can flourish.
I specialize in body waxing and am currently growing my knowledge in all of our services so I can be the best esti possible for my clients. If I’m not working, you can find me watching the latest Netflix shows, spending time with my family, organizing, or online shopping.
Sadie J., Esthetician
Hi, my name is Sadie and I am a licensed esthetician. I have always wanted to be part of something that I truly care about and brings me joy. I ended up finding all of that and more with esthetics! I started out in a waxing salon spending most of my days shaping brows (which was amazing). While working in a salon I found my way into skin care. I am so in love with what I do and how with each service I am able to personalize and really dive in to help with all different kinds of needs. My ultimate goal with my work is helping my clients feel confident and beautiful with themselves.
Alley C., Massage Therapist
My name is Alley Cummins and I have been working as an LMT since 2015. I have experience in Medical and Therapeutic Massage that allows me to offer relaxation as well as rehabilitation from injury and chronic problem areas, specific to each client. My favorite area of the body to work on is the head, neck and shoulders. I enjoy making art, staying active and spending time with my family outdoors.
Talea F., Massage Therapist
I was born and raised in Palmer, AK and grew up enjoying the outdoors and everything Alaska has to offer. Growing up playing sports, hiking and also hunting and fishing, I have always been intrigued with the body and the way everything is connected and
I wanted to become a massage therapist when I realized the many many ways massage therapy can help someone as a more wholistic approach. Relaxation, stress relief, releasing endorphins-your happy hormone, releasing knots/adhesions and tension, reduce post workout soreness, improve headaches and migraines, increase mobility, sciatic pain relief. The list goes on and on and literally continues to grow the longer I am in this profession.
I have a huge passion for massage and absolutely love what I do and the amazing clientele I am able to help and work with!
Leonella F., Massage Therapist
I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2017. I specialize in therapeutic massage, but trigger point therapy is something that I love incorporating into every massage. Each massage is customized to each client’s needs and my goal is for every person to walk out of their massage feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I enjoy living an active lifestyle and love spending my time hiking in the summer and spending time with my friends and family.
